With a degree in law, he has dedicated his entire life to legal practice as a lawyer and to teaching paddle tennis. During the last 4 years and with the rise of paddle tennis worldwide has focused on developing the business of paddle tennis companies at corporate and sports level.

Alfonso’s trajectory in the world of racquet sports began at an early age of eight, when he started playing tennis. Under the guidance of Nick Bolletieri’s renowned teaching method, he honed his skills and competed in several prestigious youth tournaments.

Upon entering university, Alfonso made the transition from tennis to paddle tennis, taking advantage of the sport’s growing popularity in Spain. Since 2005, he has dedicated himself exclusively to paddle tennis and has become a prominent figure within the paddle tennis community.

In pursuit of professional excellence, he obtained the International Professional Padel Coach and Professional Padel Manager certifications in 2016, accredited by the Padel Professional Registry. These certifications are matched with the skills needed to manage a club, share their extensive knowledge of padel and help players of all levels improve their performance.

To further hone his coaching skills, Alfonso has constantly sought out opportunities for growth and education. Every year he actively participates in specialized courses for coaches at the prestigious Academy of Gustavo Pratto, coach of the current World Padel Tour world number 1, keeping himself updated on the latest training methodologies, advanced techniques and invaluable knowledge.

After 8 years living in the United States he is currently the Director of the Professional Padel Registry for USA and LATAM where he teaches certified courses for padel instructors and advises investors and new clubs about the padel business. This dedication ensures that Alfonso remains at the forefront of coaching practices and is able to provide high quality training and guidance to aspiring paddle tennis coaches.

In 2017 he achieved an accomplishment as a player; being the champion of the National Team Championship.

As a coach, Alfonso employs a methodology backed by his certifications and training, using attractive games and exercises in which technique, strategy and the real game situation are worked on through a pleasant and effective learning environment.
